Woman Accused Of Stealing $1.3K Worth Of Clothing, Jewelry At Macy's

A woman has been charged with grand larceny after police say she stole more than $1,300 worth of clothing and jewelry from Macy’s at Jefferson Valley Mall.

Yorktown Police say they responded to Macy’s (700 Lee Boulevard) on the report of a female shoplifter in custody on Wednesday, June 26 around 7:10 p.m.

Further investigation revealed that the suspect, identified as Ledung Ho, 52, of Yorktown stole assorted clothing and jewelry items with a value totaling $1,363.30, according to police.

Ho was arrested and transported to Yorktown Police Department for processing, where she was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a Class E felony.

Ho was released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to appear at Yorktown Justice Court on Thursday, July 25.
